Lesson 4 : The Video is now live on YouTube!
Lesson 4: The Beat has been given a trippy treatment by Timezone LaFontaine in an 11+ minute animation depicting your hip hop heroes in a trek across the continent in the flying orange VW Beetle named Chiclets with giant roof speakers blaring the warnings about the evil BEAT.
I suggest you take time to appreciate the details and hidden items woven through the psychedelic piece. I’ve been staring at it over the past year while sound designing it and I still find new bits I haven’t noticed before.
We’re planning on an interview with Timezone in the near future so we can learn about some of his fascinating techniques especially the use of neural networks. He's also a musician who makes some intriguing, colorful and very original music and can be heard on his Bandcamp page.
